SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Ellisha Newton, M.Ed. is a Global Speaker, Author, and Builder who specializes in leading and building teams. As an Educator for 28+ years, she has led in Pre-K to 8th grade, in administration at various levels, and as a presenter at international conferences. Her book, "You Are Powerful!", highlights the power of youth and adult scholars,  and her book, “How to Love Your Job Daily for Educators: 7 Secrets to Understanding Health = Wealth”, assists leaders in reaching their goals while mentoring others. She is completing her doctorate degree,  and in her upcoming book, "Light" readers are encouraged to explore a thought-provoking journey as the first installment in a 5-book S.T.E.M. series. This book includes journal prompts to facilitate the exploration of interdisciplinary connections centered around the theme of light – encompassing scientific concepts, valuable life lessons, and opportunities for self-reflection.

BIOGRAPHY

Ellisha Newton, M. Ed., is a Builder, Global Speaker, and Author. She specializes in leading and building teams. Mrs. Newton crafts environments where all adult and youth leaders assist scholars in thriving through Literacy in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) Consequently, scholars demonstrate their literacy as they teach others what they are learning. 

Mrs. Newton is a graduate scholar working to complete her doctorate degree with which she will continue to produce meaningful opportunities for leaders to impact the field of education. Mrs. Newton has earned graduate credit and certificates for Harvard University Graduate School of Education Professional Education-Developing Myself:, and Leading for Excellence & Equity: CAEL Modules. These certificates apply toward the Certificate in Advanced Education Leadership (CAEL).

Ellisha Newton utilizes all her expertise and models high levels of competent, caring, and culturally responsive collaboration. In her 28+-year tenure in the field of education, she has led as an Educator in Pre-K-8th Grade, in administration at campus, school district, and higher education levels.

As a global speaker Mrs. Newton has presented in several arenas including church Women’s Day and Mother/Daughter celebrations, Women’s Empowerment Retreat/Conferences, Masterclasses, Masterminds, speaking with scholars/their teachers about her book, and professional development sessions at educational and technology international, regional, national, and state conferences/conventions. You Are Powerful! IN Action!!, “Technology Fun!”, “Culturally Responsive Proficiency in Teaching”, “Big Ideas in Sustainability”, “Big Ideas of Sustainability: Trekking Through the Environment”, and “Literacy =$$$ and Opportunity”, “Leadership Essentials”, and are a few of the presentations Mrs. Newton has presented. In each speech, Mrs. Newton models and challenges participants to reach their personal and professional goals. Mrs. Newton proactively issues challenges and creates opportunities for adult, young adult, and youth leaders to share their expertise in various industries to encourage self-care and joy.
